Innisfree Lip Sleeping Mask with Green Tea

This lip sleeping mask came free with my order, but full price for this is  $16 usd for a 0.59oz/17g little tub. Haven't had a lip sleeping mask before, but I've been using it like a lip balm and its lasted a year for me. I've rarely get chapped lips using this and its great! It may not be in the most convenient packaging, but just using my pinky to gather the product and apply has been good enough.

This kind of has the same feel and acts like Vaseline. It will sit on top of your lips and moisturize that way so it won't be absorbed so its best to be used before bed. But a lot of lips products are like that so this isn't much different. Its scentless and requires a bit of warming up with your finger to get product out. Overall, I really do like this product and would consider buying it.

Aquaphor Lip Repair

Now this is an amazing lip balm! Its by far the most effective lip care product I've ever used. My lips get chapped a couple times a week and with this my lips haven't chapped at all after almost a month of use. Its fragrance and preservative free. There is a SPF one but it's not the one I have.

It comes in a .35 fl oz tube so its not in stick form. The packaging is not as good as The Korres lip butter since the hole is a little rough on my lips when I apply. Its tasteless and scentless. The color and texture is similar to Vaseline but its not petroleum based. The ingredients isn't too bad but EWG says that it should have limited use. I will list out the ingredients: Octyldodecanol, C18-38 Alkyl Hydroxystearoyl Stearate, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Bis-Diglyceryl Polyacyladipate-2, Panthenol, Water, Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Bisabolol, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Lecithin, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Beeswax, C20-40 Alkyl Stearate, Magnesium Stearate, Magnesium Sulfate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Oleate, Citric Acid

Overall, I recommend it! Its super effective and affordable.

eos summer fruit lip balm

What appeal to me about this is the cute round packaging and shape of the product, and also that its natural and organic. More specifically its 100% natural and 95% organic. The ingredients list is not that long and its mostly varies oils.

There is an expiration date imprinted on the packaging it came with but not on the product package itself. Though its not really worth noting it since the one on mine is 3 years from now, and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to use it up way before then.

Opening and closing the product is easy though maybe it takes a second too long for my liking compare to the traditional way lip balms are packaged. Plus the size is not that comfortable in my pants pocket as the traditional sticks. Overall, I do like it. Its slightly sweet and it moisturizes my lips pretty well and a lot longer than the Baby Lips. It doesn't contain petroleum which I've come to like. I will probably repurchase or try the other flavors.

Maybelline Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Blam SPF 20

This is the 05 Quenched lip balm. It has no taste or color which is what I want. The packaging is really nice and cute. Definitely a higher quality than the typical lip balms or sticks. It glides on really smoothly and thinly. I don't need to apply over my lips a lot to get them moisturized.

The ingredients list is long and full of scientific names. There is honey, shea butter, and some leaf extracts though its not much compared to the other not so natural ingredients. Since this is a lip product I will be ingesting some of it when I eat and drink. This is also a petroleum jelly product. I find that it doesn't last very long and feel to have to reapply often to keep my lips moist. Because of this I've seem to reach the half way point a bit faster than other lip balms I've used. It does have SPF 20 which is not exactly something I needed.

Overall, the packaging is nice and cute but the product itself is just not below average. Its not horrible but there are certainly better ones in cheaper packaging.

Burt's Bee's Beeswax Lip Balm with Vitamin E and Peppermint

I liked the pomegranate replenishing lip balm so I decided to try out more like this "classic" one. I was naive to think the peppermint would be a scent or a flavor thing, but straight up peppermint oil. Which has a nice scent but the lip balm is tasteless. Plus it gives a tingling feeling to my lips which is weird.

Unlike the pomegranate one, this one takes me awhile to apply enough to my lips. I think its because its not as oily. It goes on very sheer which I find to be not enough. Overall, I don't really like it so I won't be repurchasing this kind of lip balm.

Ingredients: cera alba (beeswax, cire d'abeille), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, mentha piperita (peppermint) oil, lanolin, tocopherol, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, glycine soja (soybean) oil, canola oil (huile de colza) limonene

Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm with Pomegranate Oil

After losing my Chapstick I needed a replacement so I finally got a Burt's Bees lip balm to try out. I like natural products and this is labeled as 100% natural. 90% of the ingredients are oils from plants.

It has a very light sweet scent and its not flavored. Unlike chapstick this feels much lighter on my lips, and has the same moisturizing effect as chapstick. It has a nice red coloring if juice from a red fruit. Haha, sorry that's the best thing I can think of to describe the color. It goes on invisibly.

So far I like it. I have been getting the corners of my lips split which are annoying. This helps relieve them, but I don't think it helped prevent it so far. Finished this in the middle of August which was pretty fast compare to when I used Chapstick which usually takes me forever to finish. In fact I often lose it before I finish it. I hope to purchase more Burt's Bees products in the future to try out

M. Asam Volume LipBalm

This is a nice .51 floz plastic tube with a lipstick shape tip that has a hole for the product to go through. Its lasted me a long time too since its a bit more product than most lip products I've used. Its a creamy, lightweight lipbalm that goes on smoothly. You only need alittle, so don't squeeze too much. I'm not a fan of this kind of packaging and rather prefer the stick. Although that be impossible since its not solid enough to be a stick. This goes on invisible so will not give you any color, and it does make the lips soft instantly. However it doesn't last very long especially if you drink occasionally like I do. I often find myself having to reapply after eating or drinking. For being lightweight and all, I think it be better for summer than winter. It wouldn't be as annoying to apply to much. The product description says it will plump your lips which I did not see. I didn't not get irritated from this product so it has does it job as a lip balm. Its a not bad product overall. Was purchased through HSN but do not believe it is sold there anymore.

Fresh Sugar Passion Tinted Lip Treatment

Since I'm getting older, I figure I should get myself something to add color to my lips for a youthful look. I've always just used simple chapstick and use it everyday. So I thought I should start with a tinted lip product as I'm not sure if I want lipstick. So I bought this tinted lip treatment from Sephora as it got good reviews. My lips are naturally dark brown-ish color so I figure this dark red color will be nice. Its hard to figure out whats good for dark lips, and just wish I had a lighter natural lip color as it would make things so much easier.
The Passion is actually a tad darker than I thought it would be. When I apply it it made my lips darker which isn't what I'm after. It draws too much attention to my lips since it contrasts my skin so much. Its also not as moisturizing as I would like it. My lips where dry during the day so I would have to reapply much more than I'm used to. I also like drinking water alot during the day and much of the product comes off on the cup. At least the packaging is nice. Its plastic with like a satin metallic coating. It has a good amount of product and has lasted me quite awhile. It also has SPF 15 which is nice. There's a nice mild sweet smell to it too.
Overall, this was a good product but it didn't serve the purpose I wanted.
