Boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser

Bought a small bottle of this Boscia Black Cleanser to try out, and it has lasted me longer than I thought it would. My pores are always getting clogged so I do tend to buy things that target that problem I have. What appealed to me about this cleanser is that it warming so I wanted to see if this was effective or not.

The cleanser is a gel that's dark gray in color and is translucent. The warming feeling can be felt immediately, but it only lasts for like 2 seconds. I don't feel this is enough time to get your pores to relax and open up so you can clean them out. Though it is a fine enough cleanser in of itself, but nothing about it I feel is extraordinary. As for my pores, I don't feel it really made a different. I do use my clarisonic mia with it, but again I don't see that it made a difference compare to any other cleanser.

 Overall, this is just ok.

Biore Ultra Deep Cleansing Pore Strips

I like these strips because they really work well to pick up alot of my blackheads. I am aware that some people say pore strips do not work well in long term benefits and may worsen the look of your pores. So I do not use these often (once a month) or even buy them often because its pretty pricey for a box of six strips. I really do like the feel of pulling off the strip, and seeing the ugly sebum leave. It does sting alittle on the part of the strip closest to your eyes, but other than that it never irritated me in anyway.

The only thing bad about it other than the price is that its not an effective method of cleaning your pores. After an hour or so your pores will go back to being visible and probably refilling it with more oil. At least not as bad as before you did the strip. So for the money I think these pore strips are not worth it. A more effective are spa facials and chemical peels. I have tried a sample of Ole Henriksen's 3 step chemical peel, saw a much better result than these strips. Otherwise, the only time I think one should use these is for a pick me up for days when you're really too busy to take care of your skin, need it to look your best for a night out, or traveling. Use a hydrating gentle toner afterwards and then use ice to tighten up your pores. Obviously put ice in a bag and wrap it with a paper towel so it won't hurt your skin. You can also just splash your face with cold water or find anything that's cold like a soda can if its more convenient. Best to use the strips after a shower so your pores will be relax and open from the steam.

Naruko apple seed and tranexamic acid serum

Bought this serum because I heard about it through a girl's YouTube video. I like apples so it appealed to me already. The smell is really pleasant and natural. Nothing chemicaly or medicine like or artificial which is uncommon. The serum is light and milky. I was generous with it the first time I used it, but it was too heavy and I got oily later one. I've worked to use the right amount, but it did nothing for my big pores though. On the bright side it did not make me break out or irritated. This didn't last very long despite big packaging. Took me probably three months to use it all up. The bottle design is odd but has a nice pump. I just wish it wasn't opaque as its impossible to tell when I'm running out. Not really recommended, and was disappointed that it didn't work for me. At least it was affordable and not overly expensive.
