Innisfree Lip Sleeping Mask with Green Tea

 



 This lip sleeping mask came free with my order, but full price for this is  $16 usd for a 0.59oz/17g little tub. Haven't had a lip sleeping mask before, but I've been using it like a lip balm and its lasted a year for me. I've rarely get chapped lips using this and its great! It may not be in the most convenient packaging, but just using my pinky to gather the product and apply has been good enough. 

 This kind of has the same feel and acts like Vaseline. It will sit on top of your lips and moisturize that way so it won't be absorbed so its best to be used before bed. But a lot of lips products are like that so this isn't much different. Its scentless and requires a bit of warming up with your finger to get product out. Overall, I really do like this product and would consider buying it.

Innisfree Youth-enriched Cream with Orchid and Youth-enriched Gel with Orchid

 



 Since I'm enjoying Innisfree stuff I've bought both the cream and gel or the Orchid moisturizers. I planned to use the cream at night and the gel in the day. The cream does feel more moisturizing which works very well during the winter months for my oily skin. I ended up using up the whole 50ml jar rather sooner than I expected. I do recommend it! 

 As for the gel, its obviously not going to be as moisturizing as the cream, but for the day its moisturizing enough. I did not use it as often as the cream since I have other moisturizers I can use for the day. 

 Both moisturizers have a mild pleasant floral scent. Most of the time I don't really notice it so its rather light. Both are also feel light on the skin as its has like a whipped airy-ness to it. The cream does have a cream feel, and the gel is like a gel with some watery-ness to it. The gel also levels itself out so it in the jar so there aren't any dips or scoops in the gel when you open it again later.

I do believe these moisturizers did make my skin feel healthy. Since I've used them during the fall and winter months I haven't felt dry at all. I will definitely be purchasing these again!

The Plant Base Quesera Ceramide



 The Plant Base Quesera Ceramide is an ampoule with rice extract as its key ingredient. It advertises it strengthens skin barrier and retains moisture. I bought this on Soko Glam for $25 for 0.67 fl oz of product. I can't say I saw any change to my skin with this product, but it does feel hydrating. Not sure if I'd buy this again but I hadn't seen it cause breakouts or irritate me.

 The product is thick as a serum and has a mild scent. The bottle in photos looks kinda of fancy but its all plastic. There is a dropper but the design of it is interesting. The top of the lid is a button-ish pump which pops up when you twist it open. It did take me a minute to figure out how to open it cause it was screwed on quite tightly. The product is small so this didn't last me long. This product was listed under Soko Glam's oily skin routine probably for its brightening ingredients like niacinamide that's in this as well.

Troiareuke Acsen TOC Toner



 This Troiareuke Acsen TOC Toner is the most expensive toner I've bought so far. Its $38 and I bought it on Soko Glam. The TOC in the name stands for turn-over-cycle, another words its cell turnover focused toner. This is also part of the Acsen line which is targeted for acne-prone skin. I do like this toner. Its hydrating and best of all it never irritated me even when my skin is irritated. I do think this toner mildly helped lower the number of breakouts I get.I would definitely like to buy this again but perhaps when I can get it on discount. I do recommend it mostly because its gentle.

Dr Oracle A-Thera Emulsion



 This emulsion is on Soko Glam's oily skin routine so I wanted to try it out. First time I saw a moisturizer that is said to be designed for oily skin. It definitely made for oily skin since its does balance my oils more than any other moisturizer I ever tried. But it doesn't make me matte all day as I still get oily in my oilier areas just not as much as usual. If you have oily skin I definitely recommend giving this a try.

 The bottle is only 4 fl oz or 120 ml which is a decent amount that may not seem a lot, but it has been nearly 6 months and used half the bottle. The product is lightweight and spreads on thin. Its on the runny side so its not a thick moisturizer at all. Its also rather scentless so I mostly never noticed any smell to it. Interestingly enough vegetable oil is listed as an ingredient. Not an impressive list of ingredients. Overall, this moisturizer does a decent job of lessening the oils on my skin.

Botanic Farm Rice Ferment First Essence




 This Rice Ferment Essence is on the oily skin routine on Soko Glam that I bought this to try out. Its advertise to brighten and hydrate your skin. There is lactic acid to mildly exfoliate your skin so it does tingle a bit on your skin. I'm half way through the bottle and so far I think its a decent essence. The bottle is 150 ml big and costs about $35.

 The bottle is a glass bottle. The essence itself is clear and runny like water. It does have a light alcohol and perfume like scent, but its quite mild that I don't notice it most of the time. Applying it is easy as it absorbs fast. Since it does have mild exfoliation I do have to keep it in mind as my skin is a bit sensitive and I do have a few more products that are exfoliating. There have been times my skin got irritated and I'd do dumb things like apply this on irritated skin and obviously that hurt. I do think it does help in keeping the dullness away, but its not going to help my dark spots. Overall I do think this is a decent essence and it didn't break me out or do anything bad to my skin outside of some slightly irritation.

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner



 I saw this Klairs toner in one of Soko Glams' oily skin routine kits, and since the whole routine kit is too expensive for me I bought the some of the products separately like this toner. This toner is moisturizing, pH balancing, and soothing.

 This toner is rather scentless and the texture is like a gel so it pours out thicker than any toner I've ever used. Since its thicker I don't use a cotton pad to apply this. It feels nice to apply it and it definitely feels like it hydrating my skin after all the cleansing. Other than that it is a simple toner that has been gentle on my skin. Although when my skin was quite irritated this toner didn't help soothe it so I'd say it won't help in that situation. I do like this toner and the bottle is close to halfway after using it for 3 months. The price isn't too bad either so I'd recommend this!

Etude House SoonJung pH 5.5 Relief Toner



 SoonJung is a toner aimed to soothing stresses and irritated prone skin. This is my first time using a toner with a specific pH, but I can't really tell if it really made much of a different. But the toner seem to help calm and prep my skin for all the acne products I use.



 The product comes in a tall 180ml clear plastic bottle. This amount lasted me for a long time and I used it twice a day. The toner is clear like water and has no odor. I don't use cotton pads to apply I just make a little pool of it on my palm and apply to my skin with my fingers. It absorbs into the skin like any other toner. It definitely didn't irritate my skin even after using a strong acne wash that makes me face red. Other than that it does feel it lightly moisturizes my skin. I think this toner is pretty decent for the price and size of the bottle. If you want something gentle, calming, and moisturizing I'd definitely would recommend giving this toner a try! Its great to use all year long as well.

Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment



 Its kind of hard to categorize what this Cicapair color correcting treatment is as it calms the skin, is like a light concealer, and has some moisturizing properties as well as it also acts like a primer. Oh, and it has SPF 30! I've had a sample of the tiger grass cream, and I wasn't wow by it, but I've heard this color correcting one was good for redness so I ended up getting the full size one. I am pleasantly surprised at how good this product works. While its not a miracle worker, it does immediately reduce any irritation on my skin, reduce the appearance of redness, and it even hides the appearance of my pores so I have a more flawless-like look to my skin. For a product to do so much I can't highly recommend this enough.



 Its $52 for a 1.7 fl. oz jar. It will take me many months to go through this jar as a little can go a long way. It took me a couple weeks just to clear the product that was on the lid which was like a teaspoon and a half amount. The cream is practically odorless which is a plus. It does has a pale green color to it which is good to negate the redness. Once you massage the cream to your face it will turn to a skin color. My skin is light in tone and I have no issues with the color of it being off at all. The color isn't strong so it won't really replace foundation and concealer. You don't really feel it on the skin so its not heavy feeling at all either.

 Definitely exfoliate if you have patchy dry skin areas. This cream won't look good on those areas, and it will soothe your skin after exfoliating. This cream has helped me when I was using an irritating acne treatment wash. Definitely recommend this or any of the cicapair products if you are using any skin treatments that is irritating.

 Since it has SPF I can only use this in the daytime. Direction says to use this after toner and serum. It says it has herb complex that moisturize and strengthen skin, and mineral solution and panthenol to replenish skin's moisture barrier. Since its winter, I do not find this to be moisturizing enough so I do still use a moisturizer as well. Perhaps in the summer I can be fine with just this as my moisturizer. When that time comes I will try to remember to update this to see how it does on my oily skin on those hot humid days. Overall, I do recommend this treatment cream!

innisfree White Tone Up Lotion


 Innisfree White Tone Up Lotion is a brightening facial moisturizer. I wasn't too impressed with the toner I bought, I've decided to try their moisturizers. They're affordable and I bought it from a seller on Amazon.

 The key ingredients in this are extracts from fresh berries and the usual Jeju thing that's in like every one of their products. There is PEG, alcohol, and fragrance listed in the ingredients. However, this moisturizer hasn't given me any issues with my skin. I haven't had any sensitive reactions or break outs with it. The scent is also mild and pleasant. While I really see no brightening happening to my skin, it does moisturize my skin which is all I really needed from this product. It is the winter season right now, and it does an ok job at keeping my skin relatively moisturized but not enough that I don't get that drying feeling from the cold dry winter air.

 Overall, I think this is a pretty good basic moisturizer for the price. The bottle is a sturdy feeling plastic, but it only has a hole at the top. Getting product out is a bit of a pain, and the bottle is not squeezable. The moisturizer isn't that runny enough to pour it out easily either. I'm not sure why they made it like this, but I wish it was easier to get the product out. I think this moisturizer would be good in the spring and fall season. Perhaps summer as well if you have dry skin.

Missha Time Revolution The First Treatment Essence Intensive


This Missha essence treatment is mostly known as the SK-II's more affordable alternative. I was skeptical of it for awhile, but have kept hearing good things so I ended up trying it. I have tried SK-II's essence which was good, but I could not afford to keep buying it.

The ingredients aren't too bad as well. No parabens, alcohols or PEGs. The packaging says its 80% yeast extract and it is the first ingredient on the list. The essence is just like water in look and texture. It hardly even smells like anything as well. It has a slightly alcohol smell but since its yeast it is kind of similar.

Essence is definitely a lot more moisturizing than toners. I really enjoy using this essence in DIY facial masks with cotton sheets. The first couple weeks I did noticed a difference in my skin that is probably better than the SK-II did. This essence is a bit moisturizing, but it really has a nice calming effect on my skin which is really helpful for my troubled skin. I don't think I've ever had a skincare product calm my skin down so much and so instantly. This especially helped during the winter season.

Overall, I do recommend trying it out. The price is affordable and even though it came from Korea, the product arrived undamaged. I do plan on repurchasing this once I am running low.

Innisfree Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam & Toner


I've been wanting to try this Korean brand for awhile and heard they have a natural ingredient quality to their products. So I decided to finally try a couple things from them.

They do have a international online shop in English and in USD, but I decided to get them off Amazon since some have similar prices and sometimes even cheaper.

Since having a line for pores is a new thing for me I wanted to try their volcanic line. I got their scrub and toner since those were ones I needed to restock. I wish I read the ingredients first since I just noticed there's alcohol in the toner, and PEGs and Fragrance in both products. I wouldn't have bought these if I've known that, but since they already arrived I would just use them instead of returning them.

Both of these products feels very stripping on my skin. My skin feels like a rubber glove since it takes away the majority of the oils from my face. I think I'm mildly to moderately oily on my skin, but still I was expecting something more gentle. Definitely not the kind of products you may want to use too often. I did that once after a long day, and wanted to take everything off with a double cleanse. Ended up irritating my skin a bit!

Lets start with the toner. The toner is mostly clear and there is cloudy particles (volcanic ash probably) that sits at the bottom. You will have to shake the bottle to make the toner more milky before applying. It has a moderate alcohol smell and it does have a bit of a perfume from the fragrance ingredient. This toner's job is to absorb sebum which isn't hard since it has alcohol. Its surprisingly not that drying after using it for awhile. If the weather is cold and dry it can be drying though so adjust your regime to suit your skin. I personally use face oils. It hasn't irritated my skin nor does the smell bother me since its light and it goes away quite fast for me. I haven't seen any significant difference to my skin.

The scrub is a cream cleanser that's gray-ish in color. Its not as rough as normal scrubs are. There are red-ish balls as well as the cleanser having its own grit in it. Its not rough on the skin even if you apply pressure. This stuff will sting your eyes so be careful. This scrub does foam as well so I find it works well with a Clarisonic. This scrub will leave your skin feeling dry and stripped and more so if you use it more than the suggested twice a week. I just lost count during the week. It does a decent job as a scrub though since it does polish the roughness and bumps on my face.

So does it do anything to my pores? Well, it doesn't make them any bigger, but then again it is winter now. It doesn't really help with my blackheads on my nose either. I really didn't like how drying both had made my skin feel so I had to add oils and even an essence to help balance my skin out. Overall, I am not impressed with these products so I don't plan on purchasing anymore of this volcanic line other than the clay mask. I may try Innisfree's other stuff.
