innisfree White Tone Up Lotion


 Innisfree White Tone Up Lotion is a brightening facial moisturizer. I wasn't too impressed with the toner I bought, I've decided to try their moisturizers. They're affordable and I bought it from a seller on Amazon.

 The key ingredients in this are extracts from fresh berries and the usual Jeju thing that's in like every one of their products. There is PEG, alcohol, and fragrance listed in the ingredients. However, this moisturizer hasn't given me any issues with my skin. I haven't had any sensitive reactions or break outs with it. The scent is also mild and pleasant. While I really see no brightening happening to my skin, it does moisturize my skin which is all I really needed from this product. It is the winter season right now, and it does an ok job at keeping my skin relatively moisturized but not enough that I don't get that drying feeling from the cold dry winter air.

 Overall, I think this is a pretty good basic moisturizer for the price. The bottle is a sturdy feeling plastic, but it only has a hole at the top. Getting product out is a bit of a pain, and the bottle is not squeezable. The moisturizer isn't that runny enough to pour it out easily either. I'm not sure why they made it like this, but I wish it was easier to get the product out. I think this moisturizer would be good in the spring and fall season. Perhaps summer as well if you have dry skin.

Bison Wakilala Underarm Clear Wash and Bright up essence

When I started shaving and using deodorant on my under arms it made them disgusting. My underarm darkened so much, was getting acne there too, and other unsightly damage. I had to stop shaving and using deodorant. So now I have to fix my under arms which doesn't have alot of products or info out there. I've tried scrubbing and lemons but they really haven't shown a significant difference.

Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Bright Skin tone correcting serum

This serum was featured quite a bit so I decided to try it out. The price is high for 1 fl. oz of product but despite it being small it does last well over a month for me. This product is for repairing dark spots for UV rays, acne scars, etc and to quell irritations to prevent more dark spots. Rose Roxburghii is the featured ingredient and says it helps brighten the skin. The great thing about this product is that it doesn't have parabens as well as phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oil, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin, DEA, synthetic fragrance, and animal ingredients.

I'm always skeptical of dark spot corrector serums since they do very little to none help to dark spots aside from natural skin shedding and the occasional exfoliating. But this product I can actually noticed my dark spots lighten up faster than before. The serum is lotion like and goes on the skin smoothly. It hasn't caused me any irritations or clogged any pores. I only use this serum to spot treat my skin rather than cover my whole face with it. I apply it on day and night. So far I really like this product. After almost two months of use it doesn't do as well as the first couple weeks, but its better than nothing. It does well on acne scars but hasn't done much to the sun spots that I've had for years. It does brighten my skin a bit since it rather moisturizing.

Overall this product is great. It helps but its not dramatic. I think for the price its worth it since it worked better than any dark spot and uneven skintone corrector I've used. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment

Shiseido's White Lucent line is a brightening and whitening skincare for those wanting to reduce any sun caused spots. It seems all the products in this line have the same scent which I'm not a fan of. It has this old lady kind of smell, and is kind of unpleasant like alcohol. Luckily its not strong that I can smell it all day. It goes away as soon as I put it on.

I think this eye treatment works better than the softener. It has lasted alot longer than the softener too. Its a white mildly thick creme that goes on the eyes rather gently. It doesn't go on heavy and you don't need alot of it. It does brightening the eye area but it doesn't do much do the darkness on my lids from sun and restless sleeps.

So this is really good for those who want their eye area to look brighter and not dull. The cost of the full size creme is pricey, but its a great brightener. It doesn't do much to dark circles is the only con I have. It hasn't irritated me or caused me any allergic reactions. Its has minimum hydration and its lightweight enough to layer on other eye products.

Hydroxatone Luminique Facial Brightener

My mom gave me this to help with the many spots I have on my face. I swear my face is like the moon with acne scars and sun spots, and whatever else I have. I was worried, with the name, that it might contain Hydroquinone a potentially harmful ingredient. Its not banned in the US but it is banned in Europe and probably in other countries as well. Luckily, looking at the ingredients list its not there! The main website says its paraben free and no fragrance which is a plus. This has not irritated me at all! The product size is pretty generous too. Almost the size of a regular toothpaste tube so it will definitely last for awhile even if using it twice daily.

The instructions say to use on targeted areas but I use it on my whole face. After a couple weeks it does show that it brightened my skin. However it doesn't really help with the spots it advertised to say it helps with. I have been using other products that helps with spots along with it which has definitely made better results than with just this. So if you have a number of spots from sun, aging, or blemishes I advise using at least 2 products to use at the same time. From my experience using one has not done enough. They must be gentle and none irritating. But just in case, put on a lotion or moisturizer you trust that will keep you moisturized so it help prevent any kind of irritation from the spot treatment products.

The problem I have with Luminique is that it balls up quite a bit. It also doesn't dry up completely clear. It can give you a very, very slight coverage. If you put on a generous amount on your face it may show up. So it doesn't adsorb completely into your skin. If you put on anything on top of it it might ball up and end up removing it off your skin. Although it doesn't always happen so it be good to not use to much to risk of it balling up. Otherwise, I think this product is great for brightening up the face if you have dull looking skin.
