Laneige Water Bank Gel Cream

I've been wanting to try Laneige for awhile, and luckily Target has started carrying them so you can purchase them online now. Since summer is close I wanted to get a light moisturizer so I got this Water Bank Gel cream. Its suited for normal to combination skin, and its advertised to be cooling, and have mineral water to maximize moisture to the skin and retain it.

It cost $26 for a 1.6 fl oz jar which is pretty affordable. The jar is pretty, but also plastic though it weighs like a glass jar. This product also comes with a nice plastic scoop to get the product. Rarely do jar packaged products come with a scoop so I highly appreciate it, and would probably keep it for future jar products. The product is nearly filled to the brim of the jar. The top plastic cover between the cap and jar is not flat but like a cup so it indents into the jar a bit. One of the things I don't like about this jar design is that the opening is smaller than the jar itself which makes getting the cream underneath the sides of the top rather difficult to reach.

The gel cream is a clear white color with a bit of a perfume scent. The scent isn't strong unless you sniff it right from the jar. It goes on light on the skin and absorbs quickly. It hasn't made me terribly oily throughout the day even in the summer. It does a bit of a cooling sensation though its subtle. Definitely good for sensitive skin.

Overall, I really like this moisturizer. Its good for combination skin and warmer seasons. Its moisturizing while being lightweight. Highly recommend it! As for ingredients, it seems to have a moderate hazard risk level. It does contain fragrance, menthol, and some alcohol and hydrogenated named ingredients. Very little natural ingredients in this product.
