LINE I Love Coffee
A friend recommended this game so I decided to try out since it looked pretty cute. This is one of those casual games where you own a business and upgrading it. This is a LINE game so you will need a LINE account which you can sign up for by downloading their LINE app which is a free texting/chatting app. Also this game blocks jailbroken and rooted devices but there is a bypass for this which you can find by googling searching. Or you can check out my post about it here. This game also requires internet connection. As you can guess from the title of the game, this is a coffee shop business game. Its a fairly easy game to play, but not too easy to be bored with. As you level up you unlock other features like staff, toasters, milk frothers, ice machine, etc to provide more menu items to sell. The food and coffee roasting are time sensitive so this makes this game a little demanding to play. The game also has tests. When you unlock new drinks you have to learn how to make the drink and it will guide you. When you level up drinks you will have to take tests to finish the level up. There will be a lineup of judges that will give you a recipe at the start with a time limit to study (or write down) before it goes straight to the test. The tests are timed as well. These are not too bad. I use to work at a coffee shop so these tests are pretty much how you make these drinks
The quests are fairly easy to do but requires some time. Usually you would have about 3-5 ongoing quests at the start. By the time you hit higher levels like 30 you will have close to a dozen ongoing quests. There's a variety of things to do so it doesn't get awfully boring or repetitive. Its actually quite fun and addicting. Other than the typical producing and selling of goods you can interact with customers, your staff, and even people on the street that walk by your coffee shop. Some quests require friends either by completing a certain task at their shop or by requesting something from them. There's a add friends button on the bottom left corner. Tapping on the middle button that has the green LINE bubble will bring you to the friends lists. You can write out a name for yourself as you like to be known in the game as. There's a Live Friends list where it lists random players that you can add. You will have to wait for them to approve you and there is a limit (100) to how many you can add. Having friends is important because you need them expand the size your shop, and complete quests. If you get requests from friends they will appear when you log into the game.
When you hit level 15, you unlock what they call Special Guests. These are customers that are named by their occupation and their name will always show up in blue. There will be a small icon on the top left that says collection. These guests will give you a random bonus if you achieve certain requirements. A quest will come up to introduce and explain about them. You start off with Smart Girl and Private Sam. First you have to do successful Street Charm on them a couple times before they start coming to your shop. The game will notify you when they're on the street. Once they do they will have a special drink order which you have to make. They will give you hints and you just have to guess what they want or you can always google it. Other than the drinks you can chat up with them like Street Charm. Doing these successfully with increase their love and level them up. They also have special key items that you can get either through doing the tasks above or going to a friends shops and tap the special guests there where they have a present box bubble above them.
You can dress up and customize your avatar and your staff's but unfortunately most of the items require cash currency which you have to buy with real money. When you get gifts of clothing items they have expiration dates so you have to buy them if you want it permanently. Very few quests will give you cash but when I leveled up espresso to level 3 I did get 1 cash.It seems you get 1 cash per level up of coffee or food items. You can also get cash through Special Guests. When you fill up their love meter you get a present. Each guest has their own set of items but they all include coffee beans, and cash. The present will randomly pick one so chances of getting cash is quite low. Sometimes there are special events that will have cash as rewards, but they may require some work to get it.
The art style is very cute and appealing. The sounds and music are not too annoying. Overall a enjoyable game. Would recommend it!
I've already get past the street charm stage with Private Sam and Cartoonist but they still can't be seen in my cafe... Perhaps, do you know why?
ReplyDeleteThanks in advance :)
Have patience, they will show up eventually as long as you keep your cafe open with coffee and dishes.
DeleteHi..
ReplyDeleteCan I know how to get a pet in my cafe?
I'm level 24 now..
I'm level 60 and a questline popped up for it. If you see a cafe name Emilia in your friends list, that's where you can adopt a pet.
