Final Fantasy XV Timeline and Lore Theories (Spoilers)

When I heard people were able to glitch the game to go out of bounds in Final Fantasy XV, I've been watching a few videos of people exploring parts of the maps that we weren't able to access or get a clear look at. They have been very interesting and it does make you wonder. This lead me to lore theories which have been very interesting. Now the GDC had a FFXV panel and this timeline came up. Whats interesting is that alternate reality part on the FFXV line.

That alternate reality line is curious. It could be that wedding that's an alternate reality. So this made me think whether the time theory that I read about maybe on to something. Though for them to put that on this timeline also doesn't make sense. The fan theory is based on time control. Time control is a thing in the game since Ardyn uses and even a dungeon had time going back and forth. The fact that alternate realities is a thing in this game and the Omen trailer isn't just a dream is interesting. Whether they will do anything more with it is something we'll just have to wait and see.

If you haven't already, I do recommend looking up on Youtube out of bound videos of FFXV. People have found a way to glitch out of the Leviathan fight and be able to travel around Altissia and Lucis with Noctis still in that floating flying state. Someone also found a way to glitch out of the final boss fight and explored the Insomnia map which is really neat even though it isn't scaled to be explored. There are also videos of Tenebrae and Niflheim areas too though they don't have anything interesting to look at unfortunately. Other than the out of bounds videos, also look for fan lore theories as well. The really popular one revolves around Pitioss Ruins and the story it tells about Ifrit and Eos. Its all very fascinating!

  1. Hello, I think there's something going on with the way time is represented in this game too. May I ask where you read about the time theory?
