[BL] Doushitemo Furetakunai
Also known as "Not Touching At All" a BL manga by Yoneda Kou. This is a story of Shima who starts his first day of work at his new job. He meets a very stinky man on the elevator and soon learns that he is his boss name Togawa. Compared to Shima who is quite and rather be by himself, Togawa is a sociable and crass guy who smokes and drinks often.
Shima is also a bit of a pretty boy and gay while Togawa is straight and likes children. This story is pretty much their struggle with their feelings for falling for a man of a different sexuality. Both has some troubled past as well which adds to this. I find this story quite emotional especially towards the end. The story continues and goes to a difference pairing. This time its Onoda, a coworker of Togawa and Shima who knew about their relationship and helps them out. Onoda sometimes goes out to meet with Deguchi who is Shima's former coworker. Onoda has been talking to Deguchi about Togawa and Shima with a focus on how he had a crush on Shima. Deguchi listened and gave Onoda helpful words to cheer him up though finding out that Onoda actually felt something for a guy gave him hope. Though that hope makes him quite anxious, and things did not turn out as nice as he would like with Onoda when he finds out his feelings. These guys have been friends for a few years and Onoda is quite a lonely guy so he only really hangs out with Deguchi. The worst part about dating a good friend is that if things don't well you not only lose a partner, but a friend too. Like with the prvious couple, Onoda struggles with the sexuality and his feelings. I won't say anymore to prevent spoilers!
For me, I enjoyed the story of Onoda and Deguchi a lot than Togawa and Shima. They're not as emotional as Togawa and Shima's, but I quite the characters a bit more. There is a drama cd but I'm not sure if I will listen to it. But an even bigger news is that this manga HAS A LIVE ACTION MOVIE! Well I find live action gay movies kind of awkward, but if you don't you can see the trailer below:
