Heard great things about this movie so I decided to watch it. It already starts off with the main character, Federal Marshal name Edward "Teddy" Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio), getting seasick. Him and his new partner, Chuck Aule (Mark Ruffalo), are heading to a small isolated island exclusively for a criminally insane hospital.

The set up is quite interesting and it piqued my interest. As Teddy does his job he grows frustrated with the rules and the difficulty the hospital workers are being with his requests. It definitely gives you that "something is wrong" feel and it makes me want to figure it out as I continue to watch. Teddy does have some interesting dream sequences that gives the movie a more artistic feel. The pacing is a little fast in some parts but overall its well done. It really builds up and to a great ending.

Overall, this is quite a thought provoking movie. Although its not a complex or complicated movie to understand. Its definitely a movie that you will want to think about for awhile and/or re-watch. The movie is based off a book which I haven't read. Highly recommend this movie!
