Tokyo Game Show is an annual video game convention. Its similar to E3. Before the convention open Playstation held a press conference which was streamed. There were plenty of live streams of the presentations during the convention, and a few even had English translators. I mainly focused on Square Enix so I will talk about what interested me from their booth.

Biggest one people talk about is Left Alive, a survival action shooter. This game is part of the Front Mission series, and has notable members developing it: Shinkawa Yoji (Metal Gear character designer), Nabeshima Toshifumi (Armored Core series), and Yanase Takayuki (Xenoblade Shronicles X mech designer).

Sadly there is nothing on Kingdom Hearts 3 or FF7 Remake, but that's understandable since they're not anywhere close to being released soon anyways. Final Fantasy Dissidia NT announced Noctis being added to the game. They release a new trailer featuring 1 vs 1, and fighting against summons. They had a number of seiyuu come play a few matches so if you're a seiyuu fan like me they maybe enjoyable to watch.

Final Fantasy XV had its active time report and they announced that they will continue bringing content to the game in 2018. They showed a new FFXV universe trailer which is updated to have the fishing VR game, pocket edition game, and bits of Ignis' DLC plus hints of Ifrit and Shiva story content that are coming soon.

As for mobile games, FF Mobius is having a collaboration with FFX which will be neat. FF Record Keeper they showed a clip of FF7 opening in 16bit. This feature will be released in the winter for the JP version.

Now for miscellaneous new, the Final Fantasy series is getting a ride at Universal Studios Japan. There's also a collaboration with JR East Yamanote train line and they only show that its called Final Fantasy YL. There will be a live drama reading of a original side story from Final Fantasy Dissidia. Voice actors of Cloud, Sephiroth, Squall, and Tidus are in this. This is only for two days, Dec 18-19.

Outside of Square Enix, Monster Hunter World is quite popular has a release date. Though I'm not interested in it. One game that caught my eye is Atlus' 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim but there didn't seem to show more of it other than a trailer.
