The Japanese DISSIDIA stream earlier has announced that this game will finally be on a console after only being in arcades in Japan for like 2 years. Amazon has leaked this before the stream which the people at the stream weren't that happy about. Preorders are up but no exact release date has been announced except that it be out in early 2018. The "NT" combines "new tale", "new tournament", and "new trails" as one thing.

If you're not familiar with this game, Dissidia is a fighting game featuring Final Fantasy characters like Super Smash Bros. The first two games were only on PSP, so this third will be the first not on handheld. There is a mobile app game version of this though it is a bit different. They all have a story mode though I don't remember what it was. The only good part about it having the characters interact with each other. Not exactly sure how they will handle the story for this game as NT doesn't have a story mode. They say the story will be told through cut scenes after fights. We'll just have to wait and see how this is handled.

The game has so far 22 playable characters, 7 summons, and 10 stages. There's also weapons and moogles that you can equip. There are gil and experience points to build the characters. The stream showed the schedule for the rest of the year. The newest stage they showed is from FF3 called Floating Continent. The schedule shows there are two more new stages coming on July and November. As well as 4 more new characters from August to November! Noctis is confirmed to be one of them. Makes me wonder if he will look the same or not. I say this because Cloud in this Dissidia doesn't look the same from the Remake Cloud.

The arcade version will get updates before PS4 version does. The PS4 version will be playable at E3 as well. While I am a bit interested in this game, I haven't decided whether this is something I would want to play vs just watching someone else.

At E3, some more information on the game and gameplay videos shown at IGN Live. As well as Squire Enix booth interviews. Here's some notes from that interview:

-  The "Nameless" part of the character names are where player's PSN ID goes
- It is only 3 vs 3. Single player offline you play against AI.
- You can vote for the summon you want as only one can be your team's summon. There are crystals in the arena that can help fill your summon gauge faster.
- the arched lines between you and the players indicates who is targeting you. Blue line means you are being targeted and red means you are being attacked.
- You win by defeating anyone on the opposing team 3 times.
- You can equip three different skills. Characters like Lightning has more than one skill sets to imitate the paradigm combat system in FFXIII
-  Characters can have different outfits, but it is only cosmetic.

 - There are 4 classes. Assassin, Vanguard, and Marksman are more basic but they have weaknesses and strengthns against each other than balances them out. Specialist are more unique by having gimmicks the other classes don't have.
- Summons can pause the battle time for a minute. Battle has a time limit of four minutes.
