Kimi no Na wa (Your Name)
This anime movie is by CoMix Wave Studio who also did "5 Centimeters Per Second" and "The Garden of Words." They have a really beautiful and distinctive look to their animations and art. And this movie also hold that same high quality.
So this movie is about a boy and a girl who get their bodies switched. It happens suddenly and randomly and they try to do their best to live their lives around this. They don't tell anyone about this. The story for this actually turned out to be pretty good. It reminded me of "The Girl who Leapt Through Time"
The girl is name Mitsuha who is a shrine girl from a small town. She is not a fan of living in a small town with nothing to do, and would rather live in Tokyo. She kind of gets her dream come true when she wakes up in the body of a boy name Taki, who lives in Tokyo. Both characters are likeable. Its also kind of fun seeing opposite gender traits. While the story in the movie is a bit of a ride, it didn't make me cry. It is an entertaining movie and quite a treat for your eyes. I do highly recommend watching this!
