Final Fantasy VII G-Bike

So this is a new Final Fantasy mobile apple that is just the motorcycle minigame from the FF7 game. Yes, just the motorbike game. Its in the Advent Children style too so the graphics are in 3D, and Cloud also says things during the game but nothing outside of attacking words like "take this!".

This game is only in Japanese so it might be difficult to play if you don't understand how. Basically you just go through the same road and attack enemies, protect something, or fight a boss. You have materia which are your magic, and after each mission you get the Gold Saucer roulette that awards you upgrading materials. There's also support characters who buff you up, but at the moment only Tifa is available and she ups your attack.

The game is rather basic at the moment with all the "coming soon" on certain features. This game is a big on the graphic intense side since my brand new ipod 5th gen tends to lag a little during the attacking moments. It only crashed on me a couple of times.

Difficulty tends to rise quite a bit when you unlock chapters. Leveling up is a bit slow. The meter isn't the best at judging how much exp is left till the next level. Also upgrading your gear is important and what spends the most time at least for me. The roulette is how you get upgrading items so you have to replay these levels to get the items you need. The items do have a list of missions that have them as roulette rewards. You need these to make new weapons too since you don't just buy new ones. It's quite a hassle, and at times frustrating. Especially when you keep replaying the same level to get the item only to keep landing on useless ones which happens to me. Of course you can select the other items but it will cost you the blue gems which is the cash currency so use them if you really need to. You do get them as rewards in levels and login bonus.

So far this is an OK game, though I am a huge FF7 fan so I'm keeping it and seeing what else they do with it.
