 This year marks the 10th anniversary of DearGirl~Stories~, a radio talk show hosted by Kamiya Hiroshi and Ono Daisuke. As you can guess from the title, the radio show aimed for females. They put out a show once a week and so far as nearly 500 shows! They have won awards for best radio show and radio male personality.

Each show is about 30 minutes long which isn't a whole lot of time. They usually talk about what's currently happening, read listener letters and give them advice, and since they are voice actors, they also read out lines sent by listeners. The show is quite fun and humorous. They sometimes make silly characters that they actor out. Personally, would like it better if it were a tv show so I can see whats going on.

The show hosts also made songs and formed a band called Masochistic Ono Band. They've held on stage performances of their radio show as well as sing. There's also two movies where they go to Osaka in one and Hong Kong in the 2nd one. A Nintendo DS game, drama CDs, and manga have also been made about this show.

Admittedly I've only heard about this show a few months ago and started to listen to it regularly over a month ago. Its strangely enjoyable to listen to these two old men. There are videos on niconico that put their show online. I've noticed there are chinese subs of the newest show are released regularly by some fans I think. Unfortunately there's no english subs that are as dedicated. My japanese understanding is enough to get the gist, but having a regular show to listen to is good for learning and practice.
