Final Fantasy Mobius Regions
There are 3 types of regions in Mobius and they are easily distinguish by colors: Blue is Main Story, Brown is Seed grinding, and Red is Events and Bonus.
Main Story is where the story of Wol's adventure in Parametia is told. Clearing these is very important if you want to make your cards more powerful. Clearing each chapter will up the max lvl of your cards. Finishing chapter 3 will open up the option to increase your cards to 4 and 5 stars after you clear the Hunter Island. Finishing chapter 4 prologue will give you the feature to job change during battle. Do not skip these!
Seed Grinding is what I'm calling these regions since they have bonuses on the seed you get after battle. The elements that get the bonus change depending on the day of the week which is indicated below on the map. These maps are a good place to grind for seed and level up. There's no time limit or anything so there's not hurry to clear these. Each will have a normal mode, and after you clear that the hard mode will pop up.
Bonuses are the cactaur maps. There are two of them of different level of difficulty. To get in you need 3 of those stone tablet things that you get when you complete the daily mission. Once in you have 30 minutes before you get kicked out. You get cactaur card drops here as well as seed and experience increases. A fast way to level up and get seed!
There are two types of Events: specials and battle tower. Both have a clock since they are limited. The specials are usually the monthly events with event only goodies like cards and fairies. You can keep up with the events either by following Mobius' official twitter or the wiki. Battle Tower is a short even about a week long that will feature a FF small boss that you fight with repeatedly up the tower. Its get stronger and stronger. You get voiced cutscenes in the tower too so that's neat. The treasure you get on the tower are the usual revival cards and such. Definitely worth trying to go as far as you can.
Daily Region is the purple labeled area in the events and bonuses. Its called the Pleiades Lagoon and only certain parts of the map are accessible depending on certain days of the week. These are element based due to some of the days of the week having the kanji of the element in the word in Japanese.
Monday: Dark attribute
Tuesday: Fire attribute
Wednesday: Water attribute
Thursday: Light attribute
Friday: Wind attribute
Saturday: Land attribute
Sunday: Crystals
To get to the open regions you need to use Teleport which is the circular black and yellow button in the middle right of the screen. It looks like a stick figure with a coil around its lower half like a tornado or a snake. Keep in mind the times are according to Japan time so if you live in the US like me we are behind by half a day so Japan is normally a day ahead of me during the day time. Meaning I have to play the tuesday part on Monday.
This region is pretty hard. They take up quite a lot of stamina too: 25, 40, and 60 for the 3 nodes of each island.
