Tiny Tower
Tiny Tower is a free casual simulation app game. The gameplay is simple, you mainly just build your tower. Its very time based so its slow and nothing bad will happen if you left the game alone for days or months. The game has 200 unique floors that you can build so it can take awhile before you can unlock them all. From different kinds of themes for residential floors, and practically all kinds of business places possible: food, service, recreation retail, and creative. Every business has three spaces for employees and three different stocks to sell. Its best to fill those spots with those whose dream job fits it and with a job skill lvl of 9. This way you can get bonus stock quantity and earn more coins. You can level up the business to increase stock quantity which will make the business open up longer. In residential floors which has 5 spaces which you can fill if someone on the elevator wants to go to that floor or fill the space for 1 bux. Pixel people are random so it may take time to get the pixel person you want. You can dress them up and evict them. The game is in a cute pixel style and has a decent load time. It only takes me a few seconds of the loading splash screen to get to the game. A message will popup of one of the pixel people's birthday (which you get bux for) and how much coins I earned while I was away. Coins are the free currency in the game and bux is the cash currency which is not too difficult to obtain for free. You can get tipped in buxs for sending pixel people in the elevator, you get buxs for finding pixel people, you get buxs for doing missions, you get a bux for giving a pixel person their dream job, and you get a bux for every floor you buy to build. Doing missions is the best way to get bux for free. Each mission asks for certain stock which are automatically taken when the stock is ready.
Icons will popup on the bottom on top of the menu and currency bar. Icons range from telling you a store is out of stock or its production of stock is ready, a pixel person wants to use the elevator, a pixel person is searching for someone, and VIP has arrived. Doing the elevator and finding people tasks are easy when you have less then 50 or 20 floors. But once you get alot of floors doing these tasks just take too much time to be worth it. VIP on the other hand are worth it. These are special pixel people that can help you out: one lowers the time to produce stock, one brings more customers to a floor, one buys out one stock in a floor, and one fill up remaining spaces in a resident floor.
Overall, this is a great casual game. I like opening this game up when I'm in public transport or waiting for whatever. There's minimal social features, and doesn't require being connected to the internet.
