MD Formulations Vit A Plus eye creme
In another review I wrote about Philosophy's eye cream, it
gave me milia on my right eye lid. So after some research some people
recommend this eye cream to help get rid of it besides visiting the
dermatologist. Since I'm not very comfortable with the idea of a needle
poking my eye I opt for the cream even though I know it will take a long
time.
Since milia can't go away on its own you do have to do something to get rid of it. This eye cream helps the skin shed the thickened skin which the milia is covered in and thus the harden white thing will be released. I bought the cream off ebay and it is a bit expensive but not a huge loss if this doesn't work. The bottle is 15ml and its a pump bottle type with a clear cover cap. The pump is tricky cause its hard to control the amount you want so I often have more than I really want. The cream is bright orange but it goes on clear. It does have an odd smell but I don't mind it much. The good thing about it is that after almost 2 months of using this my milia finally went away! And it even brightened up my dark circles and darkness on my lids. The bad thing is that it makes my eyes itch quite a bit. It is frustrating the itchiness and it makes me wonder why I haven't read a review on how itchy it makes me eyes. Also this stuff is kind of strong in a way that can make your lids red or even get irritated. Once it got really bad that it got pretty red for a week and started to flake the next week. I had to lay off that area for a month or so just it can heal itself. It took that long because I try putting other things on my lids to help but they all seem burn and prolonging the irritation.
I am able to use it again but it still makes my eyes itch and since I don't have milia I don't want to wear it on my eyes anymore. Since I still have yet to finish it I will try to see if it works as a spot treatment on areas not so sensitive. I have been using it again along with moisturizing eye cream which makes the itchiness and irritation go away! Other than that I will try another eye cream that's gentler and probably would not use this again unless I get milia again. Which I hope to God I don't!
