 I just want to make a post about my experience with customer service from Dr. Martens. I've never purchased anything from them before, but I did want to get a pair of shoes from them. On Black Friday they had a $25 off coupon which is quite a deal so I got the shoes I wanted. Because I never actually tried these shoes on before I had to hope the sizing I got was fine. It wasn't so I had to exchange it.

 First I emailed customer service about it. Their returns page said they don't do exchanges, and returns are allowed but $7 will be deducted for shipping. A few days later I got an email back with a return order number, and they were kind enough to give me a unique coupon code so that I still got the $25 off.

 However, I was impatient and decided to drive to the nearest Dr. Martens store which was an hour away. The sales rep was helpful to find the right sizing for me, and was able to exchange the online ordered shoes I got with no problem. They require I have the order slip to exchange which I did have. Exchanging in store save me the $7 shipping return charge.

 So my tip here is definitely try on the shoes before buying online with Dr. Martens. There are probably other online shoe stores that have better and more convenient exchange and returns than Dr. Martens.
