Devilman Crybaby (2018)
Devilman Crybaby is a Netflix anime series that's based off an old manga. Its a very mature rated show too with lots of violence, nudity, and sex. Definitely not something for young people. The story is about demons reviving and reclaiming the world. We follow a high schooler name Akira who gets combined with a demon thanks to his friend, Ryo.
Akira is a nice boy, but he isn't very impressive. His body and life dramatically changed since he got a demon as a part of him. Only him and Ryo knows about the demons, and they try to take care of the demon problem by themselves. So they have to kill these demons without getting caught or noticed. Even though they've been friends for awhile, their personalities differ quite a bit.
While this is an anime, it is quite a bit stylized that I almost thought it was some French cartoon for a second at first. There's 10 episodes and each are 20 minutes long. The pacing is a tad on the fast side, but the story is watchable and enjoyable. I watched this with japanese dub, and Ryo does have a number of English lines though his voice actor does know some English so he was able to decently pronounce them. If you can handle all the sexual and gorey stuff, then I do highly recommend this! There's more gore than the sexual stuff. It isn't super detailed either but it can be still gross. I do find it worth watching to the end. Its one of those stories where the ending just makes watching it all worth it for me.
