Mattari Wear
Mattari seems to be a brand new company that does cute japanese inspired pajamas. I found them through an instagram ad and found the print pretty cute. They had a sale and had a 15% off first order so I bought a button up and shorts set with pear pattern for about $30 and shipping was free. I wanted to get the yukata style ones but they were sold out.
The pjs was packages in a compostable bag, and there was no tags or stickers for me to remove which is nice. The material is listed on the website to be 100% cotton knit. I do like the material. Its soft and comfortable for the warm weather. Its not thin or too thick. I don't wear the shorts much since it hasn't been that hot, but also the flounce hem is a bit too girly for my taste. They aren't the most flattering when I wear the shorts on my hips, but they look nicer when I wear them high waisted. The short are comfortable and fit me fine. They don't have "small" sizes as the medium is their small as they wanted to go by japanese sizing. This could confuse people so please size up and look up their size chart. I bought the medium and they fit like a small/x-small which is the size I normally buy. This fit is perfect on me! Its not oversized like it is on their models.
I like the pear set so much I did end up buying another of the same set but with the wild berry print. The different is that the shorts didn't come with pockets. The pear only had a pocket on the right side. The wild berry shorts also come with a drawstring. The top on the wild berry has two chest pockets which is great since they cover my nips. I enjoyed both sets. Wearing them and sleeping in them feels great so I recommend trying this brand out!
