Layton Mystery Tanteisha: Katri no Nazotoki File (2018)
I started watching this out of curiosity and I got hooked. This is an anime of the Layton games but its Layton's daughter that is the protagonist. I never played the games that she is in so I had no idea what she is like. Her name is Katrielle and she has her own boy assistant and a dog assistant that can talk but only her and the boy can understand him. The stories and mysteries in Layton games are wild and creative, and this anime has that as well. I mean, the anime has already made me cry because the story was quite emotional.
If you suck at puzzle like myself, luckily this anime doesn't focus a lot on making you figure out the puzzles. It does seem to rush a bit during the puzzling part too so you really don't got a lot of time to even figure it out yourself unless you pause it. But I am going to continue watching this for the story than the puzzles. Even though the show is in the kids genre, it really doesn't feel like it.
