Breathe of the Wild: The Champion's Ballad DLC

This DLC includes a bunch of new shrines, challenges, and story cutscenes as well as armor items. There's a lot in this DLC than I expected this took me a while to finish. Though the cutscenes were great, I really do like that motorbike a lot. Though by the time I got the bike, I really had nothing else I could do in the game. This DLC is pretty decent so I do recommend getting it whether you're new or coming back to the game.

In order to start the main part of the DLC, you need to have beaten all the Divine Beasts. You then will have to go back to the tutorial area and start a challenge where you can one hit enemies, but the enemy can also one hit you. You have to defeat the monsters to have the shrines pop up and you have to do all the shrines to clear this challenge. This will take some time, and luckily you can save during it except inside the shrines. One of the shrines is a real pain in the butt though thankfully its only that shrine that really made me frustrated. This shrine is fine overall, but that last part before you reach the end is just tricky and if you mess up you fall to your death and have to do the whole shrine again from the start.

Once you finish that one hit challenge, you finally do the quest to get the cutscenes. Now this is like the one hit challenge just four times as many challenges and shrines. Its a lot of work to get like a short cutscene. For each Divine beast area, there are 3 spots to do challenges. Each challenge will pop up a shrine. Once you finish all 3 shrines, you go back to the Divine Beast and do a illusion version of the divine beast boss. The challenge part is that you are limited by the weapons, food, and armor that it chose for you. I would not recommend doing Thunderblight one in Gerudo because that's been the most difficult boss for me and I did it first. Unless you want to get the hardest one done first. After defeating the boss, you finally get the cutscene, and the champion's power now gets reduced in recharge time.

After doing all the champion's quests, there is still more to do! You now go back to the tutorial area and in the cave where you started the game in. This is were you enter the new divine beast dungeon. This dungeon is moderately difficult in terms of its puzzles so I enjoyed it. After solving it you get a boss fight. This boss fight has many stages and a lot of health. Its kind of neat, but I don't find it difficult though it can be a bit frustrating in some aspects of the fight. Beating it and you will finally get that sweet motorbike! To use it, find the icon in the rune button and summon it. It does have a fuel meter. To refuel it, have Link hold any Materials and have him drop them into the bike the same as you cook. I do wish I had this to help me get around all the champion quests. Another new thing in this DLC is a new horse set that you can warp your horse to you when you whistle.
