[BL] My Lover of Darkness - Vampire Darling

I've briefly wrote about this app game in another post, but since I've just finished it I would like to say some more about this game that surpassed my expectations. To me I find the whole vampire and werewolf to be too teenage girl material. So I thought this would be another lame love story, but its mostly just a general story than a love story.

The story is about a boy name Satsuki who is half human and half vampire. He is disliked and called a bastard by everyone in the vampire clan which Satsuki is under the protection of and Clay is the head vampire. Satsuki's parents have passed away so he is a very lonely boy, but he is not depressed or emo thankfully. Satsuki has been under the care of a werewolf family, and the werewolf boy Shirou is Satsuki's childhood friend. In this world vampires, humans, and werewolves do not get along well and the story is mainly about the conflict between humans and supernaturals. I actually found it entertaining and interesting. This is why I usually like BL just because they have better stories than when I play or read otome  or shoujo.

This game was a bit confusing since there are multiple routes. I don't exactly understand it. The three potential guys are Clay, Shirou, and Lau, but you can get points to a Vampire route and Human route as well which I think results in neutral endings. So throughout the game you get choices, and each choice will add 1, 3, or 5 points to whichever route your choice will give you. Lots of the choices I find quite difficult to figure out which route will give points to. You're main goal is to get as many Affection points to your desired route to get a good ending. Yes, there are 3 different endings to each guy a bad, normal, and good ending. You will need at least 80 points (I think) to not get the bad ending which is what I got on my first playthrough. Not sure if you can get enough for a good ending without items from the gacha.  I found a walkthrough so I will try to play it again and see a good ending as well as some CGs since I didn't unlock any.

Overall I recommend this game! The UI and app design isn't the highest quality and I have yet to see any events with extra scenarios. There's very little errors with translations though. Also the game is pretty PG rated.
