Banana Milk and Apple Vinegar drinks
Evergreen Low Fat Banana MilkA Korean friend of mine introduced me to banana milk. Even though there is Korean on the packaging it is not an import from Korea so its manufactured in the US. It is mostly milk with artificial and natural flavors. No bananas are listed in the ingredients list. It didn't really taste like bananas to me just sweetened milk. The milk surprisingly has a really long shelf life as well. You don't really need to refrigerated prior to opening it. It is a juice box type packaging with the straw is pretty sturdy with a opaque white half, and the other half is clear and is extended out from in the white half. This is not exactly my kind of drink, but with the long shelf life it does come in handy when I need milk which calms menstruation cramps. Perhaps banana milk from Korea would taste better?
Shih-Chuan Apple Vinegar drink
My local Chinese supermarket have a bunch of these displayed. Drinking vinegar is supposedly beneficial so I decided to try them out. They come in modern looking 6 packs. The drink itself is packaged in a Caprisun type pouch with a plastic screw top. Each pouch is 140 mL and they're made in Taiwan. The ingredients are really simple just water, apple juice, fermented vinegar, and fructose. These are quite sweet and then its gets sour. They're pretty tasty, but if you're not fond of the vinegar taste then its probably unpleasant. The vinegar does make my stomach feel a bit funny. There are a bunch of other flavors as well, but I doubt I would try them as I like apple flavors the best.
