Caudalie Beauty Elixir

I've been wanting to try Caudalie so I bought the cheapest product I could find which is the 1 fl. oz face mist. This product had quite a bit of good reviews, its not tested on animals, and made in France. There's no parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrance, synthetic dyes, phenoxyethanol, GMOs, Petro-chemicals, phthalates, and triclosan.

It didn't come in a box and its just in a fogged glass bottle with a tin metal cover cap. The spray is nice and fine which makes absorbing the product into the skin easily and quickly. But the product also gets lost in the air if you spray too far away. You can spray onto your palm and pat into your skin. Unfortunately the spray top is not removable so the bottle is not refillable.

There is oils in the mist which we all know doesn't mix with water so you have to shake before spraying. The product itself is clear and has a strong fragrance which is 100% natural. It has a minty kind of smell and it can be pleasant to some and stinky to others. Overall it is bearable and does go away quickly. The mist is refreshing. It is a mix of toner and serum so its good for those who are lazy. But it is really light so it may not be enough for those with dry skin. The 1 oz bottle is small and its doesn't last too long. Also because of the refreshing minty feel, it does sting your eyes a bit so I advise closing your eyes till the product settles.

Overall, I do like this product. I think its be great during warmer weather since it does have minty ingredients it will cool off your face. Here's the list of the ingredients: Aqua (water), Alcohol*, Citrus Aura tium Amara (Bitter Orange) Flower Water*, Parfum (Fragrance), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil*, Potassium Alum, Glycerin*, Mentha Oiperita (Peppermint) Oil*, Commiphora Myrrha Extract*, Styrax Benzoin Resin Extract*, Melissa Officinali (Balm Mint) Leaf Oil*, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil*, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract*, Citral*, Citronellol*, Farinesol*, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool*. * = Plant Origin
