I thought this was a serum but its a primer. It seems pore products are now more to cover them up than fixing them. Its a soft and velvety skin colored product that goes on really smoothly on the skin. It does well to cover pores but not huge ones that I have on my nose, but at least it minimizes them. Sometimes it makes certain skincare products that I put on beforehand ball up. It does make make up smoother as a primer should do, but it doesn't make rough patches on the skin look good. To be fair I have yet to find anything that helps cover patchy skin well. Overall, if you're looking for a really soft and smooth primer go for the Porefessional.
