Getting into Crochet - for complete beginners! w/ Woobles
If you ever want to learn to crochet for any reason, I recommend getting a kit from Woobles! You may have see ads from them. Sure, their kits are rather pricey for yarn and a crochet hook, but the instruction videos are great! Most of their pattern for their kits aren't too difficult and you should learn how to do them easily through their videos. The videos are short and show you each stitch type and goes through the pattern step by step until the end. And by that time you get the idea.
Its how I learned to crochet and got me confident enough to buy patterns that I've been eyeing on but didn't know anything about crochet. The woman guiding you talks clearly and the videos show the techniques clearly. They go slow and you can easily replay it. Its super helpful and amazing for someone like me who want to know and see everything. It also includes a PDF pattern if you're not a complete beginner.
There was this one pattern of a cat I've been wanting to do from a Korean amigurumi maker, and I was able to complete it! Any stitches I wasn't familiar with I could easily look it up on youtube. But Woobles helped get the very basic stitches and starting a piece which is a very helpful first step to get into crocheting!
