Just Crack an Egg

Saw an ad for these on Twitter and thought to try them out since it looked easy and quick. These cups are about $3 and are located next to the eggs at the grocery store. The cup size is about the same as the Kraft Mac and Cheese cups. I only got the Denver one which has ham, potatoes, green peppers, onions, and cheese.

The ham, cheese, and veggies are packed separately in plastic clear pouches. The directions say to take out the pouches before cracking an egg inside the cup. It asks for one egg but I decided to use two eggs. Stir to combine everything and you microwave it at 30 seconds at a time. You microwave uncovered and thankfully it didn't make a mess. It took 2 minutes to get it all fully cooked. I did add salt to this as it was bland when tasting it. It did have an odd preserved kind of smell, but it tasted fine enough. Overall, this isn't too bad, but I feel its not exactly worth it for the price. It be better to make an omelette from scratch. Since you need an egg, its not exactly an ideal convenient food for college students or traveling.
