Westworld
Have you ever been to or heard of historic re-creation attractions where its like a big movie set with buildings and actors that you can walk and interact with? Well this is what this show is kind of is. It centers on these people who provide their customers an interactive experience. The main focus is on their hosts, which are essentially life-like robots that are programs with a set of actions and scripts.
Westworld is an HBO show so there is some violence and nudity. The show is based on an old movie with the same name. The opening is interesting and beautiful to watch. The show is a bit slow, but it is intriguing enough to want to watch more. With the name like Westworld, the show will probably only be on the western setting which is too bad cause I would've like to see other settings as well. But since the hosts are important part of the story, it may mean too many different hosts. If you listen, you may recognize some of the music being played. I heard Paint it Black in the first episode, and No Surprises in the second episode.
I do look forward to how this will go. While it doesn't hide that the robot hosts are slowly realizing what they are, its hard to predict when things will turn around. I'd definitely recommend it.
