Playdead's Inside
Inside is a puzzle game made by Playdead who is the same company that made Limbo. Limbo is a well received game and Inside is designed similarly to it. Limbo is only in black and white, and just showed and never tell. With Inside, the color palette isn't black and white but it is still limited. The art style is 3D this time while Limbo was just 2D. The animations in this game is really well done too. It is a side scroller-ish game so you don't have a lot of freedom of roaming around the environment. The puzzles in this are unique and moderately challenging. Puzzles in games never really made an imprint in the experience, but these are quite enjoyable and have made an impression on me. I've seen people finish this game in about 4 hours which isn't terribly long. The story for this is a bit of a headscratcher so I do look forward to what theories people have to explain it.
Overall, I really do recommend this game. Even though I'm terrible with puzzles, this game is still worth it. This dystopian world is disconcerting, but there are some fun times. I definitely look forward to what else Playdead will make.
