M2 High Potency Skin Refinish

I came across an article on the best acne skincare product and the M2 was listed as #1 so I decided to try it out. The product is about $50 for a 1.7 fl. oz of product. There's one at 20% acidity and another one at a lower percentage which I think is 12%. The product claims to improve skintone, wrinkles, scars, pore size, hyperpigmentation, and reduce breakouts. The M2 is the two featured ingredient in this serum which is mandelic acid and malic acids. Mandelic acid is antibacterial and malic protects the skin from free radicals.

The bottle has an interesting design. Its a tall cylinder bottle with a opaque white bottle container inside a clear bottle. You twist the white top to move the white inside bottle up where you can pump the product out from the revealed tiny spout. I hear some people have issues with it that it breaks so I just leave it open. This product says its sensitive to light since it contains AHA so they advise using it in the evening otherwise you will increase the risk of getting sunburn. Also it says its not recommended to use during pregnancy. Some people say this product smells bad and it kind of does have a strong smell thats smells both natural and acidic but I have smelt worse so I really don't think its bad. Also its sticky and the bottle says to apply a thin layer to lessen the stickiness. It also says it may feel tingly which is normal since its acidic. At least this product is without parabens and is not tested on animals!

After using this for awhile, my skin does show some improvement but nothing that I would find worthy of getting #1. It hasn't done much for my breakouts or my pores. It is nice but not overly impressive, but perhaps I just had high expectations from that article. I hasn't irritated me or ruined my skin.

Almost done with the product. So far not much significant difference has shown on my skin. It doesn't seem to do much. It helps when you have acne it does lessen the scarring and even prevent it. Doesn't do anything on freckles or spots caused my sun exposure. The only good thing is that it lasted quite a long time since its a night only product.
