Philosophy's Hope in a jar SPF20
I heard great things about Philosophy's product and was
recommended this SPF moisturizer. It didn't seem all that different from
the Neutrogena SPF moisturizer
that I had before. It does moisturizer my skin and goes on the skin
well enough. At times it does feel a bit greasy and heavy. It doesn't
seem to have any sunscreen smell or any kind of smell in fact. This
product is SPF 20 which I find not really enough especially during the
summer. I think it be good enough for spring or fall type weather. Also
this product does have an expiration date. I had old samples lying around,
and when I got the chance to use them it came out with this yellow
liquid and the lotion curdled like milk. Gross! This is the first time I
experienced an expired skincare product that actually looked expired.
Sometimes I have samples and stuff for over a year and they're still
good to use!
Anyways, like the Neutrogena, if you need a basic moisturizer with SPF this is a good choice. I don't think it be good for oily skin though in the summer time in fear of getting greasy. It may clog pores if worn too much of it especially during warm weather. But honestly, there are better products for your money out there.
