I bought this off of drugstore.com out of curiosity because it was only $1.49! And to my surprise its not bad for such a cheap price. This is actually my first ever eyelash curler and bought it for the sake of encouraging my lashes to stop getting into my eye. I am asian so my lashes grow downwards and are not very long. This took me a awhile to find out how to properly use. As a result it doesn't capture all of my lashes because it seem the shape is more suited to non-asian eyes. I couldn't get it to close to my lashes either but it does pretty well still. The curl is also really great too.

The material is pretty sturdy and has a spring to keep it open so it feels comfortable. It also has a plastic outer covering on the handles and even a hook for your ring finger. Overall this is a really comfortable to use tool. Really not at all cheap like. I highly recommend!
